Democrats want what is best for the country and the masses. They are willing to pay the tab. Republicans want what is best for themselves and their rich friends. They love corporate welfare but hate to spend money feeding hungry children. When they cut funding to social programs they manage to increase corporate welfare funding.

The Republican "Party" favors business, the Democratic "Party" favors social programs for people.
But if you're simply asking about the "people" in both parties: The Democrats were intimidated, confused and left out of governance for years by Neoconservative Republicans who used 9/11 to try to subject the American people to a complete takeover by a wealthy few, led by Cheney and Bush.
Today the Democrats are not as intimidated anymore and the Republicans fear they will be exposed as being part of this coup.
Democracy can be restored when all of the Republican's fascist plans are exposed and the Republicans are kicked out.

Left wing believes the government should take care of every body except the productive people. And the productive people, should take care of the poor, lazy, losers and illegals.
The left love big strong government to strong arm the working people by taking all the money they can from them(taxes).
Right believe in studying and working hard and some day their chance will come. They believe they can take care of themselves and resent the government calling themselves 'partners' in their businesses which justifies them Dems robbing the workers money.
The right believe we need a strong military to defend our country instead of feeding the non-productive parasites on 'welfare'.
Many young people want to give a lot of money to the poor until they work for a while and try to raise their families. Then they realize the extent of the welfare cancer within our society. Then they become Right wingers.
The left wingers were pinko com/symps in the 60's and now are enviros. They despise the freedoms of the western democracies thru the Bill of Rights and are bent on destroying that in every way possible, especially private property rights. Clinton's are experts on stealing property, especially from the elderly. Big Hollywood money supports the leftists.
The right wingers honor our forefathers and the military and the men who fought for our countries freedoms.
The left wingers are parasitic in using our countries benefits, but refuse to fight for the countries best interests.
Take note of the terrorists using the anti-war positions of the leftists to wage psychological war against us.
The Right says "If the government was in charge of the Sahara desert, in 5 years there would be no sand".
The Right generally believe their is a God or at least some powerful being.
The left generally don't. The left believe same sex marriage constitutes a healthy 'family'.
the right believe same sex marriage does not constitutes a healthy'family'.
The left resents corporations profits. They think corporations should be taxed higher.
The Right understand that taxing corporations means higher prices on the goods the manufacturers produce.

WOW! That is a question whose answer has sifted greatly over the last several decades!
Today:
republicans see corporate america and a position of agression as the future for the nited States. They insist that this is a requirement for the very security of the country and use terrorist organizations to support that claim. Another key element is that the republicans would "strengthen" the office of the Presiden to such a level that he would be completely above any law including the U.S. Constitution. It is their actions that seem to reflect an opinion that the general populace of the U.S. is not capable of intelligent decision making and the Presidet must not ony be the leader but te absolute and unquestioned authority on all matters of state.
The Dems are not so easy to read. One reason is tat the party is more open to a diverse collection of opinion. They are generally for more government control in areas relating to human welfare and health. They would be more willing to apply higer taxes to corporations and high income individuals in order to pay for social programs. Most, but certainly not all, are for campaign reform. Most but certainly not all are also anti-war as a method of statesmanship.

They want you to think that there is a difference but both:
are too influenced by PACs
don't have real ethics or morals
are afraid of doing what is right
We need a third party!
