they can be, but you can't always rely on them alone to act in your best interests. make sure yours is reputable and experienced. You are responsible for your career , be aware of that. Your agent is your representative, but it's up to you to generate opportunities for yourself.

Only you can help your acting career, as a strong actor that casting agents want to book for a role.

The talent agent is the person that presents you to the casting director. Everything else is up to you and your talent or lack of talent.

You the actor, get the gig because you are what the casting director wants. for the rol.

The agent only submits you to the casting agent, for consideration.

Your hard work, as an actor, is ultimately what helps you book the role, because you are right for it.

However, they do receive a percentage of what you make and
