I bought a size 6 dress that looks great. The issue is my love handles. Any way to smooth them out?

So, for homecoming, I got this gorgeous dress at anthropologie.

The only problems are my lovehandles. My hips are showing through the dress material. I need a kind of 1/2 length tights to smooth myself over and make me look slimmer. Any suggestions as to how to accomplish this?

I work at dillards and I have heard so many good things about the donna karen body shapers, I even had a woman buy one today and then came back to me later with some clothes and said that it opened up more options on what she could wear. There are also other brands of these, spanks it the most famous. But at dillards there are some cheaper versions around 18 - 22 dollars.

If you want to actually get rid of your love handles I have a suggestion. Do side sit ups which work your obleeck (that might not be the right spelling) muscles. Lay down on your side and bend your legs kind of like a fetal position. Turn your head to face upward and put your hands behind your head. Do the sit ups!! You can use this for both sides!! Hope it helps!!

I know that few people still realize that these exist, but here's a tip from a lumpy person who figured it out before I even went to middle school, GIRDLES ARE OUR FRIENDS! Seriously. When women wear full piece girdles, it is proven that you look twenty pounds slimmer and 2 sizes smaller. All you really need is a girdle that looks like granny panties. Worry not! No one will really see them unlet your Briget Jones.

Try SPANX body smoother or a Back Support Briefer from J.C. Penny's. A Back Supporter sounds odd doesn't it? I will make you look a lot slimmer as it pulls in every thing but it leaves the "bra area" open therefore it is not confining.

Have you tried not wearing panties so that you don't get the little roll? They have undergarments at like Target and Wal-Mart,or you can pay more if you want, that will imimize your hip area. FYI that dress is really cute, but if you have larger hips, that cut will make them look bigger

if you can fit in a size six dress, then i believe you are slim enough to look great. however, there are many skin tight girdles out to wrap any body fat closer to the body. hope that helps.

Ok, first, that dress is SO cute!!!!!!!!!!

Second, if you get control top panty hose that should help. Or you cant girdle.
