When MTV first started (when they actually played videos) I was hooked at the first opening lines......they all were absolutely handsome & I fell for John immediately. the feeling never went away even after the splits. I also liked both side projects done by the band. They still have the same magic today that they did then....I hope they continue for alot longer!

Well, I really used to love them...back in their heyday. I loved so many of their albums - RIO, Arena....I still think Save a Prayer is a good song and a few others as well. They had a great sound for that decade I liked a few of their songs from the 90's too..Come Undone was good.
OK - they appealed to young teenage girls in the 80's and they were most def marketed on their looks but they were talented as well...a good 80's band.

I do...I love Simon's voice and the music ranges from ballads to music that's somewhat rockin...i love the older stuff, from the 80's better but I'm glad to see the band still making new stuff too...I'll always be a fan.

Yeah, I grew up listening to them. My first concert as well (I was still in elementary school). So, nostalgia would probably be the best answer.
