On the bottom of the trailer, where the boat sits on, its a carpet material. I heard someone say you can buy plastic ones for you to load you boat easier, anyone no what they are called? and where I can get them?

try visiting a west marine store, or a local boat trailer dealer. the plastic ones are OK, but not much different that than the old wood/carpet slides, in my opinion. good luck!

Most marine supply stores will have them or can order them for you. Go on line and search for boat trailer parts. They come in different lengths and they do make loading and unloading easier especially if your boat is a bit heavy.

"glyde slicks". try westmarine.com. under trailer rollers. they also offer a different type called "bunk enders". be careful if you use them, you can tear up the front of your boat the first time.
