you can go to a Yamaha dealer for either of these things... but if you want better handling and make the rear end more wide type in dura blue on a search engine and something should come up...they make good axles... and the thing you called the transfer case is actually called the bearing housing... be careful when installing the axle into the bearing housing it is very very very tricky... i just did it to my KFX450...it isn't to fun at all and it quite expensive
