Due to the fact that people NEED medicine so therefore it is a service they will always be using. Since they will always use it and therefore always be in the store, the store can have to walk to the back of the store and that way you will have to view what this drugstore has to offer. So on your way back to the front you might happen to see something you like and buy it. It is all a marketing tool to get you to buy something in the store.

Great question...storage for meds etc is probably why at the back of the store...not having to bring drugs through the store to the front.
But, by the time I walk back there I am whooped.

The " get well cards " are halfway down the aisle. Both the sick and those who smoke will eventually be in need of one.
