Christmas Day, the only day I get off work apart from holidays as I work seven days a week.Just to sit around with all the family and relax is great.

I like the day before Christmas. The anticipation and house full of happy secrets; the busy, busy kitchen and the wonderful smells; carollers; family arriving from out of town . . .
I kinda thrive on the stress, too =D

Earth day... or maybe Independance Day...
I like fireworks and picnics... so any day that has those is great...
I don't like Easter too much because I don't like pastel colors or sitting in Church all day.
Halloween and Thanksgiving are awesome too...
So is Chinese New Year if you live near an area where they celebrate that... (Their New Year is more about culture and less about getting drunk...)

The best of the year so far for me was the birth of my baby grand-daughter Isabel just born last month. I am thrilled with the arrival of my fourth grand-child and 2nd granddaughter.
