We have had many. Every vehicle out there has its quirks. Those it really depends on the year. The quest and the villager are the net result of a partnership gone way wrong. There is a horror story behind this Nissan/Ford mess that rocked the industry. Ford wanted a vehicle that could be made right drive for japan Nissan wanted a mini van. Nissan got what they wanted Ford did not. The motoring public got a rolling disater. Power windows are an issue as were tail gate pistons and sliding doors that fall off while driving. There are cooling issues and transmissions issues. It really depends on the model year. the 95 if I recall was the worst. Thank god they don't make them any more. I wish you luck with yours

My sister has a 96 Villager with 114,000 miles and quite a few problems in the last year....coolant hoses under the intake and fuel line leaks, valve cover gasket leaks, front windshield wiper motor comes on by itself which was a bad ground in the motor, front and rear engine mounts are bad, the same ghost power lock issue...not resolved but liveable with. Not altogether terrible and she does like it's functionality with the sliding seats to carry stuff. Pretty hard to find any high mileage vehicle with no problems........ Paul

i have a 1999 Villager it was really good until it turned 100,000 miles then things just keep going wrong. It just started running rough and missing had to have a fuel injector replaced the dealer wanted over $400 to replace one injector. After having it replaced (luckily i found a refurbished one for less then $100) it cleared the miss but it still idles rough. Did complete tuneup still idles rough. Other problems drivers window switch, some dash lights out, accelerator sticks can't press down on it. rims leak, lots of rattles and squeaks, and well there is other stuff but i forget.
