Im not in college but i was just wondering, in collage do you only take the class your going to profesion in or is it like high school where you take a bunch of classes. For example, Im going to become a psychologist and i want to know in colege do i only take Psychology class or do i have to take that and math and english and other things. Thanks much

You start out your freshman year taking all the classes you took in high school Math, English, Science, and Social Studies. But you also have to take new classes like Philosophy, Social Science, and whatever classes your college requires ALL students to take BEFORE you take classes in your major.

Oh they'll make you take a little bit of everything! Once you get all your general ed. stuff outta the way (math, history, english, etc.) you'll be able to focus on your upper-level psych courses. :)

You have to take them all. It is called an education not a vocational course.
