the patriots are way better, the raiders had a decent draft but they won't have a winning record for a while, the patriots on the other hand have been a super bowl contender for the past few years and had another good offseason this year, i say that the patriots are the better team

The Raiders were 2-14............I think if you put the Texas Longhorns in the NFL with the same players they could win more games than the Raiders ....... The Patriots won 3 championships recently, they are hot, they have good talent, they make the playoffs every year....and now they have Randy Moss.....hopefully Russell can turn that team around. So the Patriots are a way better team.

no doubt about it.
has to be the patriots
they solidified there wide receiving core
adding fast/deep threat receivers like stallworth and moss
tom brady now has a deep threat target that he didn't have.
patriots did a fantastic job acquiring these players. they should be the favorites to win it this year because of their key additions to the wr, and of course adalius thomas. now there linebackers are tops in the nfl, and there running game should be fun to watch
a great o-line with improving laurence maroney. it should be fun watching the patriots this year. on the other hand
the raiders are still a developing team. and yes defense wins games, and they do have a really decent defense with morrison and there secondaries that i do not know of and of course derrick burgess. and just adding jamarcus wont improve them because there o-line is still a question needing to be answered, and they just lost there best player, randy moss. they're still a developing team. they will possible be a playoff contending team in a couple years because of there solid defense and a should be improivng offense
but for now, patriots are a better team for sure

The pats, even if raiders pick works out better, Al Davis can't resist stirring the pot with bad trades and signings. Moss is a question mark, but I can't see bellicheck or the rest of the team let him derail the season.

The Raiders, for having drafted JaMarcus Russell, and even more so for having unloaded Randy Moss on the Pats(ies).

i guess we'll have to wait and c won't we?
if u ask me the pats have been and will continue to be the team to beat ever since brady took charge. Moss kinda worries me though, he'll be a great go-to guy but off the field can get ugly

No question the Patriots. Tom Brady, Randy Moss. Tom Brady by himself could lead the Pats to the superbowl but even now with Randy Moss... Jamarcus Russel just isnt anywhere as good as Tom Brady.
