To those who think psychics are demon possessed--why do you think this way?

I'm working on a report on psychics and would like to hear all points of view.
Why do you think they're demon possessed if they try to access psychic powes?
What if it's involuntary?

If Love is part of GOD's power and He will not share his power with us, then why can we love?

A true psychic is tuned into the Divine and has taught themselves how to hear the messages from this source. Some would call this source 'God', some call it other names. It is good and it wants to help humans through this sensitive person. A true psychic has a great burden in life, as all this info is constantly bombarding them and they must learn how to turn it off and on too. A true psychic wants to help and never tries to get money out of people for the information they have for them. If a psychic says to you, 'Yes I can help you but you must pay me $1000 first', avoid this person as they are a fake. A true psychic might ask for a little money for a session as they must live too but it will be a reasonable price.

I think psychics are decieved into believing they have powers, one person on here said a blue angel showed up in their room and told them they were psychic, now I know demons can take on any form, even invisibility, and they are the ghosts that haunt houses, so I knew this person had seen a demon. So from that I knew that psychics can see the demon or hear from the demon and thats how they get their info. I do not think the psychic is possessed, I think they are greedy and deceived. I think the demons give them info that lead people off the course that God has them on and in return the demon gives them just enough info to make them look like they know what they are talking about.
As for gifts of the spirit: mentioned in the bible, one of them is prophecy, the gift is used to edify and encourage, and occasionally it will twll the person what God has for the person's future. these kinds of things usually don't happen outside of the church and the person who gives the prophecy, NEVER gets paid and its allfor the glory of God. Plus the person should always confirm it with God to make sure the prophet did not muddle it up.
When I was in the Mormon church I got a patriarticle blessing, basically its a fortune telling session with the cult religion, its suppose to tell your future. It alluded to some problem I was having in my life that only the demons that were giving this person the information could have known about. Of course the whole thing did not happen, because I left the church. I never got marriade in the temple or had the children under in the church, or continued to work in the church.

first off, you need to know something about the supernatural and psions. Psions have an inborn ability of a connection with the afterlife or a divine being. Only a Demigod (a demon that has risen to a godly power level) could do that to a normal person. But the psions use of powers and messages from the being can pin point the origin. In short, some are divine and others are demented, but not possessed. possession is a low level demons "Big Plan".

Lets consider conventionally "the psychic ability" = "the ability to move energy" in order to use a common language. The age is not relevant. The intention that moves the energy is relevant. If this intention is good/positive (used for an altruist purpose), than may be called angelic energy and if the intention is used with bad / negative (egoistic or destructive, malevolent purpose) than is considered demonic energy, but basically is the same energy. If the inner energy of a person is moved without awareness or consent, or manipulated in a certain pattern, you may call that "possession" as well. But always look at the intention of the entity that moves the energy in the most extended and broader view possible. Honesty, truth and love should be the guide if you really need to judge and apply labels. Please consider as well that when energy moves in one sense there is always a movement in the opposite sense. psychics aren't right all the time, demons know humans very well. They can tell the so called psychics what they "think" is going to happen. Demons are very good guessers, they know us better than we know ourselves. They can even create situations to push us in the direction of the path they want us to take. Humans cannot see the future or know what's going to happen, they need guidance.

God/love is on one side and Satan/evil is on the other.

Now, if psychic power is obtained, it certainly is not from God Himself, since the Bible maintains that God will not share his power with anyone. However, Satan has power and is willing to go against God's power as often as poss.

God gives Christians power from the Holy Spirit, the part of the triune (means 3) deity. they use the power for good things.

Satan gives non-Christians power too, and often they use it for evil.

Which would you prefer? Good being done or evil? It is a no-brainer.

Once more-a "demon": the meaning of this word has been massively distorted over 2 millenia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daemon_(mythology), just like how they are trying to distort the meaning of "theory" from the formal scientific meaning to the Christianized meaning.
