Does anyone else see the problem of blaming America on every ill in this world? People actually believe our government orchestrated 9-11. What a twisted view. There are many things wrong with conditions everywhere and nothing is perfect but at least in America we sleep under the blanket of freedom that protects us to voice our opinions no matter how twisted. At some point however people have to wake up and start voicing their disgust at people who just point fingers and hurl accusations with no merit. America is a good and decent country and living here is a privelage. Any thoughts? Pro America or con?

We *definitely* need a lot more patriotic people who express their love for America and actually *show* it by their actions!

Unfortunately many of the Democrats (Defeato-crats), who call themselves by the misnomer: "Progressives" (but who act more like Communists and Socialists), need to stop blaming Pres. Bush, Dick Cheney, Haliburton, Karl Rove, "Scooter" Libby, et. al., for America's woes! If they're *so* brilliant, and are convinced that something is wrong, they should start doing something to actually *right* that wrong and make America a better place!

The very liberal, left-wing, ideologues in the "Drive-by Media" claim they cannot be biased *toward* America, because that would not be "fair and balanced" reporting! How many news media in other countries do you think are "fair and balanced" in their reporting?

And how do the Hollywood and music industry elitists think they got so prosperous? By tearing down and bad-mouthing the county where they accumulated their greatest wealth?

America has been greatly blessed by the Heavenly Father and we should thank Him every day for His blessings and the great privilege we have been given to live here in the "Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave"!

America is a beautiful Country and lotsl of loving people. Who will go out their way to help those in need.
And yes, you can sleep under the blankets at night, knowing the troops of some evil group will not come into your home and point guns at you, take away your Father and Brother, never see again. Be "Thankful America", you have freedom to worship, in my Country you can be shot, in America you can go to any store and buy what foods you may like, not in my Country, we are always hungry. In America you welcome people from other Nations and lend a helping hand. America have stopped many Nations from brutal dictators and have stopped the communists from taking over other Countries. Osma Bin Laden is responsible for 911. We wept with you on that day and prayed that God would sustain you, we too plan on coming to America to live FREE and not be afraid. Many, many operations America you have done, never told anyone, while trying to assist others who needed their Country back as well as fresh drinking water, America you dug the wells, you sent truck after truck of food, tents, blankets, milk for the babies and Doctors to care for the sick. America you have sent your Military and your ships to assist us when the Islamic Militias wanted to take over. "We Love America and we Thank You."

I think the problem stems from the overall feeling from Americans that "we are better than everyone else and are the greatest country ever." Think if someone comes up to you and tells you how much better they are than you.

What we forget is America is not perfect and still has its problems. Our past includes many violations of basic human rights in this country and caused many violations of human rights in others. We need to get away from the "holier than thou" attitude if we want people to stop blaming us for things (whether it is justified or not). I know I would not want to live in any other country besides this one, but that doesn't mean everywhere else is so inferior.

God made this a special place. That they're joining something special. That the streets are paved with more than gold--they're paved with the greatest thoughts man ever had, the greatest decisions he ever made, about how to live. We have free thought, free speech, freedom of worship. Look at the literature of the Republic: the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Federalist papers. Look at the great rich history, the courage and sacrifice, the house-raisings, the stubbornness. The Puritans, the Indians, the City on a Hill.

The genius cluster--Jefferson, Hamilton, Adams, Madison, Franklin, all the rest--that came along at the exact same moment to lead us. And then Washington, a great man in the greatest way, not in unearned gifts well used (i.e., a high IQ followed by high attainment) but in character, in moral nature effortfully developed. How did that happen? How did we get so lucky? (I once asked a great historian if he had thoughts on this, and he nodded. He said he had come to believe it was "providential.")

We fought a war to free slaves. We sent millions of white men to battle and destroyed a portion of our nation to free millions of black men. What kind of nation does this? We went to Europe, fought, died and won, and then taxed ourselves to save our enemies with the Marshall Plan. What kind of nation does this? Soviet communism stalked the world and we were the ones who steeled ourselves and taxed ourselves to stop it. Again: What kind of nation does this?

Only a very great one. Maybe the greatest of all.

Absolutely!! Those of us who value our constitution and my have served their government in one way or another. There are definite problems occurring from the news outlets, illegal immigration, school's that are bursting at the seams with Liberal teachers and administration, political correctness, the numbness of our situation's that have occurred over time, the attack on good people, divorce, spoiled children, the shutting down of Hospital's ER's because of people going there instead of getting health insurance and reliance on the state's or government to provide, and many more I could name. Hope this helps - remember there are still patriotic citizen's in our good U S of A!!!!

I just strive to live the "American Dream." I am to focused on reaching my goal that other peoples bad opinions don't even faze me. So I guess I can honestly say I am proud to be an American. But I do acknowledge that other country's may not be as privileges as us so I do not take their criticism to harsh and just pray that one day they may feel freedom as we do each day.
