The Virginia Tech massacre was a horrible, horrible tragedy. Emotionally, it is nearly impossible to process such a horrible event. Sometimes people react in stages such as denial, anger, humor and blaming. This is a normal chain of reaction to tragedy towards the acceptance of the event.

You are feeling scared because of the tragedy. It could happen again at Virginia Tech or any other college but that should not stop you from going to school. You should be vigilant to keep safe regardless of where you are. Remember that life is precious and live it accordingly.
A tragedy that most people will not hear about is Jeff Soriano. He was a freshman at Virginia Tech. After the shooting, he returned home. He was then killed in an automobile accident.

I'm not sure. Are you afraid of Asian kids or being killed?
All Asians are not bad but all killers are. Killers can be any race so you are at risk as soon as you walk out your door.
If you are having problems with Asian people, you may want to go see a counselor and talk about it.

that is just stupid.. no offence but what you are asking right now is like "I'm scared to go to LA cuz i might get shot by ...." if you are scared to enroll at Virginia Tech because you don't want to get killed by an asian kid, then just dont go...

I think you should go to V-tech not all Asians are bad. It could happen no matter where you go to school yo could go to Canada and it can happen there too. It was just an unfortunate incident. Don't live in fear. Enjoy the school you go to.

If your intelligence level enabled you to ask this question, you are not smart enough to be in Va. Tech. They have a very high standard for enrollment. So I don't think you have anything to worry about.

You make it sound like heavily armed Asian kids run on a schedule, like buses. If you are that paranoid, seal yourself in a cave in West Virginia and never emerge again!

Go to any collage that you want to go. I just wanted to say that not all Asians are killers. I dont know why when an American or Europeans kill people they dont stand out as when an Asian do. But its still you choice I dont know VT but I think it is a good collage.

its normal to be scared, but i think that incident was really isolated. something like that can happen anywhere, and if it happens again, it would probably be someplace else. you cant live your life scared that someones gonna shoot you, or you'd have to lock yourself up in a tower somewhere. best of luck in whatever you decide.
