Yes, they were a great team without Chris Webber, Then they lost Ben Wallace. So, Chris Webber is basicallly replacing Ben Wallace. Imo, Chris Webber is a lot better than Ben Wallace. Lots more offense, Nearly as good rebounding, A tad worse on D, but overall a better player than Ben Wallace. He is older, his prime was when he was with Sacramento, but still quite adeal for Ben Wallace. How important is he? Well, we will see, Pistons swept first round, lets see what happens.
I was watching the gaame and I saw Chris Webber and Rasheed Wallace in the frontcourt together and I tought, Wow, how did the Pistons pull that off, WOW.

Very important, CWebb is the difference between a good playoff run and a championship. Without Webber coming on strong down the stretch, the Piston's won't beat the West's best teams. Even with Webber contributing big, it's a rough row to hoe, but without him, it's impossible.

He's a great addition to the Pistons since losing Ben Wallace. If Detroit can get pass Chicago, they'll make it to the Finals but lose to either Dallas or Pheonix.

He is the least important out of all the other starters for the Pistons. But he does help them on the Offensive side with his passing and his ability to hit jump shots.
