yes to an extent - some fish rest & reduce their consciousness, but don't ever become unconscious as some of the higher vertebrae do - they don't exhibit REM.

yes.it just doesn't look like it since fishes have no eyelids. I guess thats an adaption thing since fishes are known mostly to be prey so they need to be more elert or sumtin.

Yes, but they don't close their eyes since the don't have any eyelids. They just float in the water, relaxed.
