If this is what I think you mean b=3 and h=4, but since it is in a fractional form that also means that b could be any multiple of 3 and h could be any multiple of 4 that satisfies b/h=3/4

but assuming b=3 and h=4 substitute the values of b and h into the equation v=1/3b^2h

so that v= (1/3)x3^(2x4)
which equals 2187

for the equation b/h = 3/4, there is no actual solution to it, just a literal solution:

just cross-multiply eg b x 4 = h x 3

...and divide both sides by 4 to get b by itself eg b = (h x 3) / 4

and that is your literal solution. If you had a value of h, just put it in the formula eg h = 4...so, b = (4 x 3) / 4 = 12 / 4 = 3

So in that example case, b = 3

Concerning the next equation V = 1 / 3[b ^ (2h)]...

to solve for b...just cross-multiply

eg V x 3 x [b ^ (2h)] = 1

...then divide both sides by 3V...

and you get b ^ (2h) = 1 / 3V

now take the logarithm (to base 10) of each side...

log b ^ (2h) = log (1 / 3V)

now using the logarithm power rule...move the 2h exponent down...and you get...

2h x log b = log (1 / V)

and divide both sides by (h x log b)...

and therefore h = [log (1 / V)] / (log b)....and that's your solution...if you know the value of V and b, just plug them into the equation...and then u got ur h value...but without knowing the V and b values, u can only get a literal solution for h.

hope this helps...if you want me to join the two equations together, just let me know...

b = 3h / 4

V b² h = 1/3
h = 1 / (3.b².V)

if i remember what my dad taught me...
b/h=3/4
b= -0.75h
==========
V=1/3b^2h
V=1/3 * 0.75h^2h
V=0.249975h^2h
V=1.249975h^2
V=1.562437500625h
------------------------------
h=v/1.562437500625
