Challenge yourself to do something you're afraid to do. I don't mean something illegal or deadly, but something good and challenging and demanding that you'd love to do but are afraid to do.

Some ideas: learn to drive (that would be one of mine); learn to swim; produce or direct a play (or appear in one!); travel to a foreign country.

Also, pursue an accomplishment you really love, or some version of it. For example, if you're 30 years old and want to be a professional ballerina, it's too late, but you could join a local dance club or class and learn modern interpretive dance. If you can't travel to climb Mount Everest, climb Bear Mountain (NY) or a local mountain or hill, preferably with a hiking club, or climb one of those walls they have in some recreational facilities. I know there's one, or was one, near Lincoln Center (NYC). Write that novel you've been carrying in your head for years.

Above all, establish a relationship with God. As a Christian, I recommend you do it through the Messiah Jesus.
