Read your history and get smart.
The holocaust took place in Europe, not the united States, and we had no business giving orders to anyone in that part of the world.
And in reading yur history of that subject,you will notice that the Americans,and our allies, lost more men fighting the Germans than did the Jews themselves, so just where did you get the idea we didn't help?

assuming that you are talking about stopping the holocaust once it had reached the death camp stage...
1) No way to stop it as it was taking place in areas under German control
2) People could not believe that anyone would do it.

the us did help liberate many survivors of those in the camps in europe during world war 2 but at a great price of human life. just do some searching on the web and you will be able to find plenty of info.
