Not exactly - but I have given something and then seen that the other person was upset because their gift to me was not as great.
I like to give things to people that need or want the things - not just because I think they deserve it.

Never. I always launch a full enquiry as to their worthiness, first. With background checks, birth certificate and the football team they support. Even then I only lend things with a return date agreed, signed and sealed.

My grandmother was like that. Nothing you ever got her was good enough, ever if she'd asked for it. Quite glad the miserable old witch is dead if I'm honest
