Ralph Lauren by far. They may not have as much versatility in color, but they are far better in quality.

ralph lauren all the way baby!
if you just want something to carry as more of a tote then id go with Ralph Lauren but for moe of a heavy duty bag, id use llbean.

I don't know either, depends on which models.
But all time favorite totes for school or wherever are the Herve Chapelier ones
They come in a variety of 2 tone colors and are made of resistant, waterprood nylon canvas.

what kind of totes? if you are talking the boat tote things, ll bean all the way. i have had my tote for over 15 years and it is in wonderful shape.
