This coming Friday is the last session with my counseling psychologist. She has helped me so much this semester at college and I want to pay back her kindness.
But I am worried she wouldn't accept any gifts because of the ethics procotol as a psychologist.
Do you guys have any good idea for gifts that might be suitable for her without her refusing it? I really want to pay back her generosity deeply.
Thanks in advance for any insights.

An aloe plant, it is not personal, it is useful and no one is allergic to it. It shows appreciation, but you know you really do not have to get her anything, she enjoyed helping you, and that is all the thanks she needs.

Gift cause an ethicl delima for counselors best not to give one. You might try writing a note or make a card. Drawings are always nice!

I think your counselor needs to give you your money back. Its common knowledge that in their profession they do their best to keep an "arms length" relationship with their clients and he or she probably wont even be able to accept your gift. Ethics and all that jazz.

With all due respect.

You could get her a card explaining how much she has helped you.. and something simple like a candle.
