This question is almost too easy to answer. I did give up a body part for the sake of my daughter and would do it again in a heartbeat!
I donated my left kidney ten yrs. ago to my eldest daughter. So, I would have to say...I've been there and done that!
I sure wish more people would consider this as now, it is only a day surgery to donate and the donor is home the same day! That is a miracle!!

Since I have had my spleen removed (twice-it is a regenerative organ and it grew back!), and have survived this far, I would be hesitant to give up any organs other than the next spleen I grow,
