Shelda:
Make an excuse to see here ASAP. Once you are with her, get up or make some kind of innocent motion that puts you walking closely past her, etc/ Say something like,"hey wait! Hold still....you have something in yer hair." Pluck out the offending nit or calmly tell her, "hon, I think you'd better take a look at this. I think you might have lice." Be supportive & concerned, and she won't hold it against you, why would she? I understand it's a social stigma to have "lice" but it's a VERY common thing ANYONE can catch. The sooner she gets rid of it, the better. Best of Luck!

Well, if she has little white specs all in her hair then, yes she has lice. Also, that bug is a good sign of lice. I think you should call her and calmly open the conversation regarding her having lice. What I'm saying is, simply get to the topic of lice, and then calmly tell her what you saw in her hair. But, if you think that she will not take it lightly, meaning that you may offend her by telling her about the situation, tell her parents first. Although, you may need to tell her parents first because, they would most likely know how to handle it better than she might be able to. I think that you should really consider talking with her parents first. You may also want to do this in person instead of over the phone. But, if you think that you may not be able to meet them in person for quite some time, do it over the phone. Oh yes. Please don't wait until it's too late. Take either of those immediate actions as soon as you can. Lice can be a major problem, so please take action when you can. Also, lice spreads like wild fire, which is another thing why you should tell either her parents or her immediately. Please keep in mind that if you think she might not take it well, confront her parents as soon as possible. You're doing the right thing by taking action and telling her or her parents about this. I hope I helped you. Take care.

Are you kidding me? Tell her quick fast and in a hurry if you really are her "friend". I'm a nurse and yes, you can see lice. I've seen many. More often you will see nits, which are the eggs lice leave. It looks like dandruff, but it doesn't come off when you wash your hair. Just say you saw a bug in her hair. She can check it out for herself.

first off get some vo5 shampoo with collagen and find some true tea true oil the vo5 is a preventive the oil kills them, it can't be from walmart an Herb store or all natural store. as for your question yes tell her if you have to go back over there sit at her table talking to her and after a few minutes just say good you have a bug in your hair and get up and look and then tell her honey you have gotten lice from some one. she will then have to get some of this oil and clean her house from top to bottom wash beds everything. you have to get every egg and bug out of the hair before it will be gone and since she has the bugs tell her to go to the doctor to get meds for her hair they wont look at her dirty like or anything. lice likes clean hair because they can't grab onto oily hair or dirty hair. if you get the oil leave it in over night then wash it out with the vo5 with collagen but i think she will need med from the doc

Hey if you are young enough, tell her parents that you think she might have lice so they can deal with the situation. If not, then as her friend, it's your responsibility to tell her. Check her hair for her and then go with her to a pharmacy to get the medicated shampoo RID. As I a friend, I'd be supportive enough to do that; I always stand by my friends.

You just need to tell her you aren't passing judgment that she should make an appointment with her doctor and have it checked out. Anyone can get lice. It doesn't matter how clean you are if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time you'll get it.

Just be up front and tell her. You guys are best friends. I think she will appreciate it more coming from you than somebody else. You should also check yourself for lice as well. It is usually the best friends that end up with it as well.

Lice do not jump they craw and they are not white it depends
what color your hair is.They adapt to the shade of your hair. That is their only defense,if they are the same shade as your hair it makes it a little bit harder to see.Make no mistake you can see them. If one gets in your hair and lays eggs, nits is what they are called then your in trouble.I would say to her
that you fount some kind of bug in your hair so you got your mom to check to make sure there were no more. Then say you
better get your mom to check your head just to make sure.
If you do it that way she won't be embarrassed.

You should tell her that you have heard that people were starting to get lice around where you live and you both should get checked out.

Yea, I'd tell her she has been expose to lice! She may have a kid around her who picked up the critter from his clothes touching theirs, or her clothes being close to someones who have lice. bummer.... but say hey and tell her.
