I believe everyone is afraid to be completely honest but honesty to a certain degree is possible to have. I would never tell my mother that my brother is gay. There has to be some kind of tact when revealing certain truths. As for myself I am not afraid to be completely honest with certain people because I can trust them to keep my dark side a secret. With others there's a certain amount of tact which should be used because some people can not handle the whole truth. Just as in the movie which Jack Nicolson said ''You can't handle the truth!'', the same is true for most everybody.

Sometimes yes, at times I'm very afraid to be honest. But most of the time I try to be a very honest person. When your talking about feeling or something very serious there is a need to be that way

If it's crap that nobody's business but my own and if being honest about would ruin my chances with the girl, then there's no way I would tell them.
I mean, you don't ask the how much the girl weighs. Girls may like honesty, but the girl doesn't want to be honest about her weight, let alone even say how much she weighs around.
So, it depneds on what's being asked. You ask someone how much they jack off in a week, that's nobody's business.

Sometimes. I hate drama, and I will go to great lengths to prevent it. If I think something will cause someone to be angry, or hurt, I usually don't say it. It's a horrible flaw. I'd rather be honest and welcome the drama rather than feel like I'm kissing everyone's butts all the time.

Yes. Being completely honest makes me feel vulnerable. I know I have to get over it.

No, but the vast majority of people I know, especially at work, are terrified of being honest.

absolutely not! honesty is the best policy. if you think someone might be hurt by the truth but they really should know then you have to use some tact and respect... but at the end of the day everyone is better off knowing the truth.
