1) Cease interleague play, so Brewers can go back to AL, restoring geographic sanity.
2) Entire salary consists of a base pay, innings played, performance. Paychecks during season are the base salary and the performance bonus is calculated after the team season ends.
3) Make uniform mandate restricting the length of pants.
4) Scheduled and non-scheduled drug testing. Strike records of player from the legitimate records and keep them in a "league of their own" so as to protect the integrity of the game.
What ideas do you have to improve the image of baseball?

To answer someones question, the Brewers voluntarily moved to the NL to accomodate interleague play. The only way that MLB could make IP happen was if the leagues each had an even number of teams. The Twins and Royals were given the opportunity to switch, but declined.

take away the designated hitter rule which in my opinion undermines the integrity of the game.
-absolutely non-scheduled drug testing.
-salaries based on games played: players like mark prior and wood should not be able to collect their millions of dollars for not playing a single game!
-definetly a cap on salary; no one should be making $25 million no matter how good they are
-teams get an equal amount to spend on players' salaries to create an equal playing field

You have some good ideas right there, except for the salary thing. I do think that any guy should be able to make any amount of money he wants in baseball. At least ballplayers aren't bankrupting companies and costing people their jobs and pensions when they get paid, unlike a lot of our CEO business-criminals out there.
I would add a Comissioner that isn't the owners' lapdog, and organ music. I would lose the DH, artificial turf, prerecorded music, and the last four teams to enter MLB.

I don't understand why you have a problem with the pants. Do you remember what they used to look like. Back in the 20's they were extremely baggy. I wouldn't mind if interleague play stopped. I never agreed with it in the first place. And let's get rid of the DH.

Ban artificial turf and domes.
Get rid of the DH.
Never let an All-Star Game end in a tie.
No more expansion.
Lower ticket prices.
Less interleague play.

i'm fortunate to stay in Australia the position i can watch the perfect NRL, AFL and the perfect Rugby comp (tremendous 14). i will watch the EPL interior the off season yet why might want to I watch a nil.33-cost community football comp that even the Socceroos coach doesnt cost. football has peaked and regrettably shall we conflict to get to the subsequent international Cup even as our present day stars retire. as well the authorities will placed Socceroos video games on the anti-siphoning loose television record so Foxtel wont be as attracted to funding the A-League after 2013. So it might want to ought to settle for being the variety 3 or 4 football code.

1. random drug testing, and it is standard for any and all performance enhancing devices...first strike is 80 games, second strike is a full season, third strike and you're out
2. destroy the all-star game winner getting home-field in the world series rule and instead use regular-season records to determine it
3. install either a salary cap or a revenue sharing plan
4. eliminate the designated hitter in the american league

Revoke territorial rights, repeal blackout restrictions, and withdraw the national broadcast contract with Fox.
Then, add a codicil to the new contract negotiations: Tim McCarver will not be permitted to announce games under any circumstances.
Rule DENIED on Rose's application for reinstatement.

you sound bitter. but what i would do is
take out all the racist who've been elected to the hall of fame when on the hall of fame balloting it clearly states that a player must held accountable for the person he was.
