People are afraid to address the issue in our PC world where someone maybe offended. I am not afraid human life begins at conception.

Because we will never know the answer, and people don't like not knowing the answer.
Even if we can address the biological beginnings of life, we can't address when that biological entity becomes sentient. That's where the controversy gets ugly.
People don't like issues that aren't black and white.
