The best possible answer is to be yourself and to speak your mind when moved to do so but keep in mind that there is a time to speak and a time to be silent. Don't be discouraged by those who would be argumentative, that would be a time to hold your tongue do not waste your time with those who are closed to your opinions.

It's never wrong to be yourself. That's the only way you can make real friends. People tend to get annoyed because their minds function o believe that they are always right. They have so much confidence that they do not want to believe anyone else's opinions or thoughts.

You must always be careful. The deep sleepers will not gravitate toward truth and if you hit them on the head with a frying pan, you have wasted your time. You must sense when it is OK to open up freely.

Telling the truth and giving an opinion are two different things. I wouldn't confuse the two. Have you considered the possibility that you may be incorrect?

telling the truth and giving your opinion, i think are two different things. the truth: you have hair, your opinion: your hair is ugly.
sometimes you should keep your opinion to yourself. when you do give your opinion be prepared to back it up. people can get offended really easily. you have to respect the face that they may disagree.
no one is always right.

It's all in how you present it. If people feel their ideas are being attacked, it's understandable for them to get defensive. Make sure you're being polite and not condescending when you correct someone. It's great to have original opinions though.

It's never wrong to be yourself. But sometimes, depending on the company, it is better to keep your opinion to yourself if you know it will cause a fight. I like to be the peacekeeper, personally.

It may not be wrong to tell your opinion freely. By the same belief though, it would not be wrong for others to convey their beliefs through disagreement,

Being yourself is the greatest thing there is, it for sure you can't be someone else, that's what I think. Go on and enjoy you. There is nothing wrong with that nor with you....

I tend to let go of the outcome. Someone's opinion of me is none of my business. I have any issue resolved for me, what they translate something as is no business of mine.
