Depends on where you live. If you live in California it might be ok, but if you live in Texas or even worse Georgia, you'll need to get out of town quickly. If you are in Texas and you come out of the closet you probably want to come out of the closet elsewhere. No lie.
When my father in law found out my brother in law was gay he hunted him down until he found him and beat the tar out of him. So it depends on who your parents are and their mindsets and views on things.
I'm just trying to help you.
My question for you is were you sexually abused? Everyone that I know who is gay that I've gotten to know well enough for them to tell me their past has shared with me that they were sexually abused. It seems to be very common. I'm seeking to be compassionate here. It may be better to get help with recovering from your past
it is a hard place you are in

IF i was a Lesbian, which i am NOT, my parents wouldnt care. i mean, i am always talking about the homosexuals in my school and my parents said they didnt care....but thats just my wierd parents! i would never be attracted to a girl becuase men are hotter. and have cute butts.. :D lol and anyway, i just dont date girls...period!!!!

well considering I'm not in a girl to girl relationship i dint have to worry about it, but if u are lesbian....maybe you should try telling your parents, u have to take that chance to be who you really are....its going to be hard. good luck hunny!

my mom would be sorta grossed out but wouldn't be mad. my dad walked out on my family and caused a lot of trouble so my mom has pretty much said she knows i don't trust men and its ok to be a lesbian (ew!!) i don't trust men but i would never date a women. i don't swing that way.
