Well that depends on what age your talking about. To me a child is some1 who 12 n under.I don't see any reason why a child would be given a condom. My son has taken mine thinking they where balloons n filled them with water n made water balloons.I didn't know, cuz I thought they where using regular balloons lol..my landlord came to with concern n asked that I discard of the condoms another way that they don't end up on there backyard lawn lol....They didn't know the kids where using them as water balloons either.Well it was funny n it all started cuz I told my son they where balloons but for adults n he believed me lol...He does no what they r for now. It's been a couple of yrs but back then he wouldn't had understood what they where for so had to think of something lol...have a wonderful wkend.Oh n if I didn't say it here it is, no kids should not be given condoms cuz it's like saying go have sex just use protection when it shouldn't even be a thought in there head.Eat, sleep, school n play is all kids need to do n think about.

OMG, no. Depending on the age of the child the experience of sex should be a special "ADULT" thing. It should be shared between two adult because children can not understand the full grasp of sex , the importance, the need, and the want. All in all, children even 16 or older cannot comprehend sex. If you are going to give a child a condom, why not talk about the sexual experience first. They need to understand it before they start having it. So no you shouldn't give any child a condom. There are consequences to that, that children cannot grasp.

Yes but only children that have been thru puberty and can reproduce. If the parents can't be trustworthy enough to teach their children about the birds and the bees and where babies come form then someone needs to do something to keep them from having unwanted pregnancies. By the way this could cut down on abortions and babies left in trash cans, abandoned etc.

It's against the law for anyone who sells condoms to refuse them to someone because of age. If this happens you should report the person.

While most adults don't condone children having sex, it's a fact of life they will, and it's best we allow them to be responsible when they do.

Absolutely not. They shouldnt even be given to teenagers. Throwing them like candy in a classroom does not do anything to prevent sex and pregnancy. Have them available but make it so that the 'children' can get them but they must have a discussion with a counsellor first - or honestly lets just tell them that if you're too embarrassed to go to a store to buy a condom you're too young to be having sex.

How old are these children that you're wanting to give condoms to? I think if you're in high school you have some. Just in case, but I wouldn't encourage your kids to carry them. I think if you give it to kids that are to young they'll probably take them to school and show them off to their friends and get in trouble. I guess it all comes down to the kid.

the importance of abstinence should be taught to children. learning how to keep yourself out of a bad situation should be taught to children. the results of having unprotected sex should be taught to children. a school has no right to give kids condems. that is like giving them permission to go out and do it. it is pretty sad that we live in a culture where children have been introduced to sex at such a young age.

No, but I think condoms should be available readily, for free, to teenagers. Not necessarily at school, but at a local clinic or something.

How old are we talking here? That's just going to start controversy. In my opinion, yes, because children are having sex at ten these days, and it's the parents fault.
