Iraq will eventually win. The war that is going on there is a civil war. Just as the United States of America fought a civil war, the people of Iraq are fighting a civil war. US soldiers present in Iraq are just getting in the way of the people in Iraq deciding who will govern.

Iran, Syria, and (not really a country al-qaeda). They do not have to really defeat a majority of coalition forces in Iraq or Afghanistan. Merely last longer physically than the western countries do politically.

If those countries were to feel a physical "pinch" for their involvement in Iraq, then they would not be winning. But for now they are "winning".
