This one is adapted from the movie Ju-On 2, but it's orignal, and it works on its own:

A young couple moved into an apartment. Every night at 12:30 am, the two were awakened by a thumping sound against a certain spot on the wall. Thump, thump, thump. Puzzled, but open-minded, the couple do some research on their apartment. A man who had lived there had gone mad and killed his cheating wife, then hanged himself. He hadn't realized that his young son was watching the whole time. The child went nuts, and when the cops came, they found him swinging his father's feet against the wall, a vacant expression on his face. He never recovered and died in an insane asylum a short time later. But the couple was still puzzled, as this had happened at two in the afternoon.
One night, the woman got into a minor car accident and didn't get home till just after 12:30. She heard the thumping, as always, but when she went into the room, she got a horrible surprise...
Her husband was hanged from the rafters, and a little ghost boy was swinging his feet against the wall.
Thump, thump, thump.

Also, find those "Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark" books. They're classics!!!!

You appeared up any city legends? those are some that i found truly scary. merely seem them up on the internet. there are dissimilar variations of all of them: The Clown Statue Cannabalistic Nurse The Evil Doll The Ghost Hitchhiker Human's Can Lick Too (Creepiest one available) there is extra available, yet i will't remember them. Human's Can Lick Too is apparently in accordance to a authentic experience, yet i'm not particular.

I'm going to give you a synopsis...you can fill it.

The Heatseeker.
A creature in this woods that was born under the glaciers of the last ice age.
The creature is as cold as the ice it was born beneath.
The creature is attracted to all forms of heat--especially campfires.
The creature will eventual absorb all the heat of the campfire as it is left to go out or is put out.
The creature will then seek other areas of heat.
One group of campers, not long ago, were found one morning in their sleeping bags---frozen to death.
