I had blood work, and so far so good, got to have some scans next.
I have had to go through this once before when I was 17, and they put me on the pill to regulate me, 8 years on and 7 months from being off the pill I am having to go though it again, so I think that it's the case of irregular periods.

I assume you can get it, I found this website that is based in the UK that talks about clomid. http://www.womens-health.co.uk/clomid.asp

Has your doctor done any bloodwork on you to check your hormone levels? If there is a chance that you are not ovulating, then by all means, Clomid is a way to start trying to go about it. It is very much a legal drug, as are all fertility drugs in the US. I don't know anything about England's policies...

I'm sorry that you were informed that there is no such thing. I wish you all the best. Perhaps a consultation with another doctor is in order. I'm sure that someone will be able to give you some sort of answers!

Hi Chloe! The docs are a load of old rubbish in this stupid country! Honestly, they do anything to fob you off. It's because in the USA it's private, I'm sure of it. Here, anything that costs money they put you off. You go back and insist! I think I'm progesterone deficient because of 2 short luteal phases in last 2 cycles so I'm off to docs next week and I'll be firm!!! Good luck Chloe. Hope you get sorted soon x
