Well I recently moved from AL to PA and that is a mixed answer for me. I moved into an apartment complex and most of the people won't even look your way. Not even to say hello. What is up with that? We always speak in the South. Even when you go out, men don't even hold doors for the ladies. No offense to anyone. But the lady under me, she is from NY, always is nice and offers to help out with anything my hubby and I might need. We try to do the same. However, my neighbor to the right is always fighting with her husband and then she cries so loud all day that you can hear her two blocks away. I secretly hope that she will read this and wise up. My zip code is 17013. Maybe that will get her attention. Then again, I kinda feel sorry for her. Her husband seems like a total prick. I think it depends on where you live as to what your neighbors are like. I just always try to be friendly and after repeated attempts, if they still are pricks, I say f*ck 'em. :)

We just moved, and now we really like our neighbors. I think it's a good idea to keep a healthy relationship distance between you and your neighbors, and set boundaries. I would also find it very offensive if my neighbor complained about my children. I'm sure her grandkids infringe on your privacy at times, too. We all have to be tolerant of each other. She, having been a mother, should understand how sensitve an issue it is to correct other people's children. I do not take criticism of my children well at all. No one is perfect, and our role as neighbors is to just set the right examples, and keep our noses in our own business.

I hate my neighbors, I live in an apartment and I have a neighbor that is always making noise, and I cannot sleep at night because she turns on the TV or the radio (she is even worse than that old lady from the Duplex). And my neighbor is also weird, once she yelled to her mom "I like to be a freak, OK?". Is this normal? As you can see, your neighbors are much, much better than mine.

I live out in the sticks and my neighbor on one side is okay but he likes to shoot his guns in the middle of the night. My other neighbors are crazy and I think they may have a meth lab in an old car because I see them always messing around with something in the trunk. I'm thinking about selling and moving. I wish I had normal neighbors.

I DO NOT THINK about my neighbors. They do not pay my bills. My kids have their own friends and do not hang out with the kids around here. They play inside or go to the park. When we have parties we invite their friends from school and family members. There are plenty of us to be or own friends and keep our business to ourselves. Without the interference of hating, jealous neighbors. Just stay on Hi and Bye terms and you will be much HAPPIER! cocoa. P.S. I almost forgot do NOT force your kids to "play nice" with those kids, children should be allowed to choose their own friends like we do. Gl

I just can't stand my neighbors...they are soo lazy!! They have yet to put out the garbage or recycling. My husband and I will only put out the trash we make and the recyling on occasion. For two and a half weeks they kept piling on their trash and we keep on taking out only ours. There was about 35 garbage bags of theirs. Our landlord wasn't too thrilled with them anyways, however it looks like they'll be out in september, yea!!!!!!

No, the wife is so illiterate and pushy. The husband is one of those mister macho types with sleeveless shirts unbuttoned, oil stained jeans grease under his nails and a beer in his hand. The two preteen sons are foul mouthed brats who steal the fruit off my trees and call me a B**** when I told them to stop. Would you like these neighbors?

On one side we have the sweetest neighbors, but on the other side of us...some crazy internet sex stuff is going on. Down the street we have the worst neighbors who don't discipline their children and they run around breaking things and cursing at the top of their lungs all day. Yay me. Good luck with your pain in the @ss neighbors.

Our houses aren't close together but the few I've actually talked to seem very nice and the others never cause problems. I mostly meet the kids and they're always polite and friendly.

to my left: 2 creepy guys that never come outside and more than likely have dead bodies piled up in their basement.
to my right: a really bland lady, that has nothing to say, but always stops me to talk..and your there talking to her for 10 minutes because you cant get away, even though 7 of the 10 minutes is just awkward silence...and whenver you say your going to leave, THEN shell think of soemthing else to say...like..and then more awkward silence...
so in conclusion..no. i do not like my neighbors.
