One of the thoughts that have occupied my mind today...
i concluded that i feel indifferent to our doom, 2012 i couldn't care less, is this strange?

The end of the world sounds great. It will mean that something interesting will happen and it will be exciting. At least nobody will be bored or be concerned with the problems in their relationships because they will be preoccupied with the end of the world. Look at it this way, the end of the world will solve everybody's problems because they will all be dead. No more therapy, no more worry, no more planning for the future, no more investment seminars, no more retirement accounts, no more noise........................

No, since there is not much we can do to prevent something if we don't even know what's coming.
I say, let the end come and THEN I'll care. But maybe that is because I don't believe the world will actually end, I think it will just change so that we live in a totally different way. Don't ask for details since like I said, no one knows for sure.

The world has been going for 4.5 billion years, and it aint going to end anytime that you could even imagine.
Why have kids got this obsession with the world ending? If you are not a kid, then I would seriously think of seeing a shrink.

No. If we perish, it is likely inevitable. I doubt it happens in 2012. And life will likely continue long after humanity becomes extinct.
Who will miss us? The flies? Mice? Cockroaches?

"you live for the end" if not then why do humans exist. i dont think we only live to go to school and the college.... marry .... have children ... etc (routine life) then die as nothing has happend. i think that, to have a good end we have to do good deeds in every aspect (religion, behavior, charity .......etc). and based on your deeds whether good or bad, u end up eihter in heaven or hell. that is my thought.

I think it is extreme shallowness. If people don't see a future they must believe there is none.
