Exxon-It makes 400+million dollars an hour- based upon average of qrtly income/hrs in the qtr.
GE-Very large electric company-Led the Stock Market at once with most profit, but is OK
Google- Stock is trading at almost 500.00 right now, so it's really profitable.

Do you mean TOTAL profit or PERCENT profit? The most profitable TOTAL profit companies for the past year tend to be oil companies. But total profit is an inadequate picture.

My guess is that the most profitable companies (percent profit) are private companies, and the information isn't available. My company, for example, has a gross margin of about 85%, which is very profitable, but we're very small.
