Would any of you ever volunteer to be hypnotized for a show? Why? What would you like to do while under, and have you ever been hypnotized before? Thanks

I was at a conference about a year ago and there was a hypnotist. There were a bunch of "tests" that the audience had to take and then certain people were picked to be hypnotized. I was one of the people chosen. I would definitely do it again, it was so much fun. There were some people who faked everything and one person from the audience was actually hypnotized and when he was telling a person to cry like a baby, the audience member began to do just that. It was awesome. When I was hypnotized I was asked to back up dance for Brittany Spears. That had to be a funny sight!

My workplace had a hypnotist for a Christmas party one year and my friend and I both volunteered. However, we both felt the same about it. We didn't feel like we were under hypnosis. We still knew what was going on, yet we couldn't control ourselves to not do what he was saying. It was a weird feeling. The other people that were hypnotized with us were REALLY under. They didn't remember anything. If I were to be hypnotized again, I would like to go deeper and work on a weight loss plan.

I once volunteered at one if those funny shows with a hypnotist. I kinda new I wouldn't be able to relax enough to GET hypnotized. I was right. I really tried, but being a type A personality, I just didn't go under. He knew it, so he didn't pick me for anything. I finally just got up and went back to my seat. Some of those people are just faking it. But I'd say over 50% really do get under. He can tell. If I were to go under,I would just be flabbergasted to see myself doing anything I didn't remember.

NO bloody way!!!...Ive been to a show where a couple of people involuntarily went under in the audience!....He told us this may happen and how to try to stay alert...He had people doing allll kinds of things OMG....I would NOT want to be up there...And the thing was that we were on a cruise ship so for the next week you would see these people all over the ship!!!...I felt bad for a few of them....It would be different if you were never going to see these people again...But anyway...The answer is a BIG FAT NO!

Yes, only if it were to help me quit smoking.

Yes, I would love to be hynotized. I would love to be used and abused whilst under hypnotism......

Oh my gosh no. I'm still not convinced it's possible but public humiliation is certainly not the way to convince me!
And if it is: that's a way vulnerable position to put myself in. And it's manipulation. Plain and simple. The worse manipulation out there!

yeah, i gladly would, because i'm those type of girls who like to take risks and are daring. what a girl would like to while under hypnotism really depends on the girl. for me, i'm not sure. and i've never been hypnotized before. and since you said thanks, your welcome. =)

I guess I would volunteer, but I've had a few people try to do it and couldn't. So it would be a waste of time.
