Nothing. Five years is really nothing in the grand scheme of things. Maybe I would have moved back to California three years sooner than I did, but I like the direction my life is going. I am engaged to a great guy, and I believe that my life was supposed to go in the direction it did in order for us to find each other.

I would have had the bariatric surgery that has aided me in losing 100+ pounds. I feel like I'm just starting to live after being obese for the last 20 years.

I would have made sure to live in the country where I come from, and let my husband run after me and settle where there's the sea and the sun, and not be the slave of his dominant, dramatic, macho father. That way life would have been much easier for me, and also for my own soul.
