Fuel is leaking under my 1983 C-10 truck, Why?

Could it be something other than the fuel tank

Leaking form where?
If it's leaking from the engine compartment, it's not your tank.

Could be a fuel line or a connection possibly at a fuel filter. If it's up front, maybe fuel pump. Just crawl under and look for where it's leaking from. HINT: Dont use a match for light. Use a flashlight.

You don't say where the puddle is--if it not under the tank., you have a fuel line leaking.
