During the 80's the success of teenage mutant ninja turtles spawned a lot of copycats.
The Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters was one such group of character trying to cash in on TMNT.
clearly that hamster is one of the members of ARBBH trying to make a come back (or just trying to pay the bills) by taking a job as a mascot for yahoo.

i guess that hamsters draw close out with scientists and the uniform represents that he's practise for something. I dont imagine Yahoo is as sensible because the folk answering or asking or in simple terms human beings mainly.
