As with many excessively hypothetical questions (if everything was upside down, what would you do for a living?), the question is ambiguous and subject to multiple interpretations. The simplest is that someone somehow just turns the gravity knob up instantaneously throughout the entire universe. This might cause the sun to implode, supernova, and eliminate the moon entirely. So, the answer is that it would eliminate the moon's orbit.
