if i am of the age of 18, can my parents legally keep me in their house? or can i leave if i want?

Absolutely. At the age of 18 all Americans are fully emancipated, I would however ask you to consider the consequences of leaving at such a young age. Unless your parents are truly being detrimental to your well-being or have you living in conditions that you can reasonably assume could be improved by your complete independence I wouldn't leave. There is very little in the way of jobs, health care, and the like that are available to 18 year olds.

You can leave unless there is a compelling reason for them not to let you, AND they have a court order!

Otherwise you are an adult and can make your own choices!

No they can't. You can leave as you please. You're an adult by law and your parents can't stop you.
