No - the French Revolution only attempted to recreate the type of parliamentary rule that had been enjoyed by the British for a hundred years before the French stormed the Bastille.

The French Revolution only succeeded in collapsing into the unholy mess of the Napoleonic Wars.

No. The whole world had a part in what the world has become. No one group can get credit for our lives. We are individually and collectively responsible. Consider wars. Consider our reactions to disease and disaster. Consider our reactions to love and hate. The French Revolution alone is not responsible for our world today.
