Back in November I took my car in for several repairs. Since then the guy has asked me for more money twice over and I still don't have my car back. Am I being ripped off?

I paid $600 "upfront." Since then I've given them $300 twice over.

A few days or a couple weeks at the longest no matter what it is. You can change out a motor or a tranny in a couple days easy. I got upset when they kept my truck for 3 days to fix a gasket. The motor had to be pulled to get to it on my truck even. What is the repairs and what are they charging for them. This is what we need to know to say if it is to much money.

So what kind of work are you getting done on it,
