It mainly depends on if your debit card is actually a credit card or a card that is used and the money is transfered from your checking account.

I'll explain what I am talking about so you can understand a little more.

If your card is used and money is taken from your checking account, the money could take up to four business days (since they will not do anything on Sundays or no transactions on Sundays), it would possibly take a few days, but if it is a credit card, the amount of money is transfered when you finish the deal through PayPal, and that person will get the money within five minutes, not three to four days later, and you should receive the item within a few days after the transaction is done through PayPal.
