I personally do not compress my HD's as if things go wrong you nearly always have problems with for mating. if you find that you are running out of space on your HD then buy another HD you may regret compressing your drive. Look to see if there is any programs you no longer need and remove them. there are other things you can do to get more space in XP.Unfortunately I have not the time or space her to advise you, but here is a quick, go My computer/WINDOWS/ look for cursors. remove the top two rows of cursors, leave the third row and delete the rest, the row left should have a black arrow on the right hand side at the end and another similar one in the middle of that line. if you have done it right. All those cursors are not needed. OK Hope this helps empty bin. PC MAN.
