Valley Springs Juicers bought two different kinds of grapes to make juice. The green grapes cost $500 per ton. The red grapes cost $200 per ton. The buyer ended up paying an average of $280 per ton for the grapes. What is the ratio of tons of green grapes to tons of red grapes?

................ Amount....... Cost/ton....... Total Cost
Green..... G................... 500 ............. 500 * G
Red......... R................... 200 ............. 200 * R
Total ...... G + R............ 280 ............. 280 * (G + R)

500G + 200R = 280(G + R)
500G + 200R = 280G + 280R
220G = 80R
G/R = 80/220 = 4/11
