President Bush would be hated by the far left no matter what he did.If he found a cure against cancer they'd probably claim that he only did it to make the large drug companies money.

That is as realistic as asking if Micky Mouse raised from the dead with the cure for cancer.
Bush is not a cancer research kind of guy. He is a towel popper. He was described by Yale classmates as the guy in the locker room that would always pop someone with a towel and laugh.
He hasn't changed in 40 years and he is not about to start a new carrier in cancer research.
I would love to see Bush get kicked out and have a real man like D*ck Cheney take over for the next couple years.
Cheney could rap up this ******** war and make money doing it.

You gotta love those hypothetical questions...
"If Bush found a cure for cancer..," which he's obviously not going to do. Neither is Gore, Clinton, etc., etc.
Yes, dear...if Dubya found a cure for cancer I'm sure we would all love and worship him, ok?
At least it would be something WORTHWHILE he could put in his memoirs.
I mean...a cure for cancer would certainly top,"bring 'em on," or "mission accomplished," now, wouldn't it????
Heck, if he could manage to speak like an educated man in front of a crowd without the trademark smirk, I think I could warm up to him, lol.
Got any other hypothetical questions?

Even if W had the capability to find a cure (teehee, the idea of that is funny), he wouldn't because Pharmaceuticals is big business, like oil, and his buddies would convince him to sit on a cure so they could continue to make millions off of cancer meds. Cancer is way more profitable to treat than to cure...

If Bush found a cure for cancer, I would be the first to stand and cheer him on. It has been my experience that he is working in the opposite direction, however.
Toxic waste cleanups have been underfunded by an average of more than $300 million per year since 2001. In 2002 the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) quietly reversed a long-standing environmental safeguard by lifting a 25-year old ban on the sale of land contaminated with cancer-causing PCBs.
The EPA's new air pollution plan is weaker than the Clean Air Act, and its mercury proposal would allow seven times as much this dangerous toxin/carcinogen to collect in our lakes and streams.
Bush’s first year in office, clean-air inspections fell off 30 percent, clean-water and clean-air criminal referrals declined by 50 percent, and criminal referrals for violations of rules controlling toxic substances dropped 80 percent.
The Bush military has dropped hundreds of tons of depleted uranium on Iraq. Depleted uranium is still radioactive, and can cause genetic mutations (cancer) if injested of inhaled.
The Bush administration turned down a petition by health advocates to strengthen health standards for beryllium, a metal that OSHA concluded causes cancer and lung disease.
The Bush administration imposed a gag order on EPA officials from publicly discussing perchlorate, a rocket fuel ingredient and carcinogen found in drinking water.
Bush administration proposed relaxing safety standards on the toxic metal selenium, which causes mass deformities and death in waterfowl and is a carcinogen.
The new Bush EPA recalculated the "safe" level of formaldehyde used in plywood manufacture to 10,000 times above the previous level -- after relying on a on a risk assessment provided by the chemical industry. A month later, the World Health Organization finds that formaldehyde is carcinogenic to humans, with sufficient evidence of nasopharyngeal cancer in humans and strong evidence of leukemia in humans.
I challenge you to find ONE thing Bush has done to help cure cancer other than naming a few months "awareness" months. I'll wait...

Ask me again if he actually does find a cure for cancer.
You repubs act like we have no good reason to dislike this guy. The reason we act like he can't do anything right is because he hasn't shown he can. From his war started from "faulty intellegence" in Iraq to his every move backfiring subsequently in the war. His unqualified political appointments, His negligence on looking out for terrorism in the first place when he took office. His utter lack of diplomacy. His pompous and arrogant attitude and unwillingness to change on his failed policies. The list goes on and on.
I think we have good reason not to like him.

They would say he secretly had the cure long ago but refused to share his info until people were on board with his agenda. Then they would call for an impeachment.

I can't believe you are serious about that. First of all Bush is against embryonic stem cell research. This research could possibly lead to a cure for cancer and other horrible diseases. I would be very happy if Bush found a cure for cancer or helped contribute to finding a cure for cancer.
