Gold/ yellow = purple

Blue = orange

(Green = red)

These are the complimentary colours from the colour wheel meaning that they go together the best. So for blues and golds, oranges and purples respectively will be the best looking combination.

Depends on the shades, but if you are using dark blue and gold, try an dark orange/orange-red. That will look good.

good question. you've already got the two complimentary colors of blue and yellow (btw, i don't think gray goes well at all); all i can think of is some kind of wood tone, some kind of rust or light red, or tan.
