a diode is a electronic device that alows electric current to flow in one direction in the circuit and a transistor is a electronic device which consists of a group of smaller devices which are used for increasing and creating signals and electric oscillations

A diode is an electronic device having two electrodes,.i.e. the p n junction semiconductor diode valve which is used as a rectifier.Vacuum tube diodes are also used.

A transistor is a semiconductor device having three electrodes,three section ,two junction semiconductor device which is used as amplifier or oscillator.
